The use of monochromatic LED light

Initially LED was used as the instruction light source of the instruments,and then all kinds of

light color LED were widely used in the traffic lights and large screens, produce good economic and social benefits.Take 12 inch red traffic light for example,in the USA, originally use the long life,low efficiency 140W incandescent light as the light source,the LED line light can produce 2000LM white light. The light losed 90% through the red light fillter, only leave 200LM red light.

But the lights in new design, Lumileds company used 18 red LEDs,including the circuit losses,

the power consumption was just 14W in total, it also can produce the same efficacy.

The LED lights was also widely used in the car signal lights. In 1987,our country began to

install the high break lights.As the LED quick response speed (nanosecond),can let the

following vehicle driver knew the driving situation early, to reduce the rear-end accidents.

In addition,the LED lights was also widely used in the outdoor red,green,blue full-color display screen, and the key chain mini flashlight fields.
